“IP” stands for “Internet Protocol.” And “protocol” here refers to the connectivity regulations and guidelines that govern computer networks.

The “address” part of IP address refers to a unique set of numbers linked to all your internet activities.

Putting all this together, an Internet Protocol address is a string of unique numeric identifier separated by periods, and carried by every device in a network. This includes every single computer, router, modem, printer, switch, and any other device that is part of a TCP/IP-based network.

This address makes up the core component upon which the networking architecture is built and no network exists without it.

An IP address is not something you sign up for; once you’re online, you’re automatically assigned an active IP address by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). An active IP address is necessary for you to access the internet.

And note this: IP addresses are not assigned to people, but to computers.

When I was a kid I used to ask my parents what my IP address was so I could play online. The answer was always the same, "Don't ask that question you stupid kid." The next day we would ask again, until finally one day I got it wrong.

My parents didn't think anything of me, but they did wonder why I kept getting kicked off. I had no clue as to why I got booted from the game, except for one thing, I was playing against people all over the world, not just in my own area. After that, I started asking my parents how to change my IP address to something less unique.

They had no idea what I was talking about so they told me I needed to go to Google and find a different IP. I asked them why there was such a big rush to get my IP changed, which really was a lot of money. They told me to stay away from that program because it was fake and just taking people's money.

These people are not to be trusted, not at all. These guys can change your IP address with ease, it's not hard at all, and it's costing you a whole lot of money to do so.

They say that if you are on the Internet for any reason that you should always use a public proxy or VPN to make sure that your internet connection is right and that your wrong. There are lots of options available to you, but one of the best is to use an IP that is not as common as the original IP, and not one that is easier to change. These are the top five reasons that using a VPN or proxy will help you out the most.

You see, when you have two IPs all by yourself, you have no idea if they are the same, and therefore, if you do a reverse search, you'll get the wrong results. If you don't use a VPN, it will be very easy for people who are on the internet to trace your IP and put you on the street, so you need to do everything in your power to keep that from happening.

So use a VPN if you're trying to get your IP. With that and an IP that aren't so common, you'll be able to make sure that you never have problems as a result of changing your IP address.
